Summer School 2012

June 4 through June 29
August 6 through August 16


Summer School will be held for 4 weeks beginning Monday, June 4 and ending on Friday, June 29th. There will be bus transportation for the morning pick up and drop off from school at 12:15 p.m. Once again be free breakfast and lunch provided during summer school for district residents 18 years and under. We are also planning to have two 4 day week sessions for Reading and Math Enrichment beginning August 6 and ending August 16 for students in grades 2-5 based on achievement scores. There will be no transportation provided for this August session, however breakfast and lunch will be provided to district residents under 18 years of age.

Swimming lessons are scheduled for the afternoons beginning June 4 and going through Thursday, June 21 so that each session for students will be 7 lessons for each shift. We will provide transportation to and from the Turtle Lake School Pool. There will be programming here at Clayton School in the Afternoon until 4 p.m. during those days also.

Thank you to all who contributed to our phone-a-thon for Dollars For Scholars. A special thank you to our student volunteers who gathered on November 15 to help make our evening a success! Dollars For Scholars is proud to help our local Clayton graduates pursue further education.

Thank you for all the generous donations to the Kids Feeding Kids food drive! On Monday, February 13th, during the Clayton Girls Basketball game, food and cash donations were collected. Food items totaled 132 and more than $74 was collected as well! The food and cash donations will be delivered to the Lifeline Food Pantry in Clear Lake for distribution. Thank you for making this food drive a huge success!
