The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, designed to provide each recipient with the opportunity to graduate college debt free. The intended recipient of a Hagan Scholarship is a high achieving, self motivated student who will require financial assistance to attend college.The Hagan Scholarship provides up to $48,000 over four years; nine hundred twenty-seven Hagan Scholars from 43 states are currently enrolled at 358 colleges and universities. Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must be graduating high school students who intend to enroll in a postsecondary institution, which may be a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college. Students who are residents of the State of Wisconsin, are in good standing, and who demonstrate probable success in postsecondary education are eligible to apply. This is a competitive scholarship.
Eligibility is not limited by GPA, class rank, or any other school or program conferred status (ex. National Honor Society). Any student who meets the above eligibility criteria may apply.
Selection Criteria
Students will be evaluated on their leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement. In addition, students will be evaluated on their ability to clearly articulate goals in each of four areas: future educational goals, personal life goals, community/society service goals, and career goals.
Each student must submit three letters of recommendation.
Letters of recommendation will be evaluated on how well they describe the student's improvements, contributions, and successes. Letters may be from a current or previous year’s teacher, counselor or principal.

Every year, Grow Ag Leaders awards more than $500,000 in scholarships to students studying in ag-related fields. In 2021, more than 350 scholarships totaling more than $500,000 will be awarded across the U.S.
Agriculture creates nearly 54,000 jobs each year, and almost half of these go unfilled. It’s up to farming communities to remind students that a career in ag is beneficial to both their own personal success stories and our growing population. Grow Ag Leaders asks farmers to endorse high school seniors or college students for a chance to win a $1,500 scholarship to support their higher education studies in ag-related fields.
Make sure you’re eligible! Students must:
Be high school seniors or enrolled as full-time students in college.
Plan to pursue a degree or certification in specific areas of agriculture and eligible majors (a complete list of areas/majors is available in the Official Rules section on this website).
Have a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Obtain two endorsements from Eligible Farmers

High school seniors and current technical college students that are in their first year of a two-year program are encouraged to apply.
Application deadline is January 15, 2021. Only students with complete application files by the deadline will be invited for a personal interview at a hosting dealership in their area. The interview is for the scholarship only, not employment.

Tuition amounts vary and can be up to full tuition. Average tuition awards are $3,000 ($750 per semester for four semesters). Snap-on Tool sets may be awarded independently or in conjunction with tuition awards and have a retail value of $4,270. Students that are not already working in the automotive industry can receive employment assistance. The goal is to have all students working part-time while attending school to get on-the-job training and mentoring to enhance their education experience and graduate with a full-time job!

This scholarship has been established in memory of Grace Schradle. Grace, the daughter of Chris & Stacey Schradle and sister of Kaitie, Kelsey, and Jake. She had an amazing spirit. She was a one in a million soul. Grace was active and dedicated to volleyball, basketball, softball and her family throughout her life. She passed away at the age of 16, just one week after starting her junior year. Grace planned on attending college to earn a degree in education with a minor or concentration in coaching. We encourage high school seniors from Clayton to apply for this scholarship in her memory.
AMOUNT: The amount of this scholarship will be $500.00.
ELIGIBILITY: This scholarship is open to a Clayton student pursuing a degree in education with a minor or concentration in coaching.

The scholarships will be awarded to students attending any accredited college or university (public or private). The objective of these awards is to provide financial assistance to deserving students.

The Dale A. Nordquist Family Scholarship was established in 2019 to give back to the Clayton
community by supporting education. Dale grew up on a farm in Clayton and graduated from Clayton
High School in 1972. He went on earn a 2-year electronics degree from Dunwoody College of
Technology and then spent his career in senior Sales, Marketing and CEO roles for various private
and public companies. This scholarship will award one or two $2,500 scholarships to Clayton High

The St. Croix Valley Chapter 331 of the Vietnam Veterans of America has established a scholarship to provide two (2), $1,000 awards this year to a graduating senior who plans to continue his or her education in an associate degree program or above. To qualify the senior must meet the following requirements:
· Be a legal relative of a Vietnam era veteran or be sponsored by a Vietnam era veteran. Please ask for assistance if your student needs a sponsor by calling John Telschow 651-470-3151 or Dave Niederer 715-377-8562.
· Be a graduating senior during the current school year with a minimum 2.0 GPA.
· Submit an application form and essay no later than April 1st of this year.
· Submit a teacher/mentor evaluation form and/or a comment sheet by April 1st.
· Be a resident of Polk, Pierce, St. Croix, Dunn or Pepin County in Wisconsin or Washington or Goodhue County in Minnesota.
Scholarship money will be awarded based on the applicant’s overall understanding of the impact of the Vietnam War as demonstrated by answering the questions in section 2, academic performance, teacher/mentor evaluation and comments, extra-curricular activities, and neatness and care in completing the application. Final selection of the winner will be made by a selection panel of the members of Chapter 331. No one factor will decide the recipients.
The winners will be announced in May. The payment will be awarded after the completion of the first semester or quarter at an institution of higher education in an associates degree program or above.
