The Middle School Football season begins in mid-August and runs through early October. On May 8th, Megan Hoffman broke the Clayton 3200 Meter Run (2 mile) with a time of 13:15.56 which was previously held by Donna Juleff with a time of 13:20 in 1985! 👏👏
Also on the 8th, the 400-meter relay team of Brody Tarman (TL), Braden Curtis, Landon King, & Alex Schradle broke the Clayton school record of 48.8 from 1993 with a time of 48.43!👏👏
On May 13th, Alex Schradle broke the Clayton (& TL record) Shot Put record, with a put of 47'9". The old Clayton record was 46'6" held by Tristan Truttmann in 2013! Congratulations to all athletes! 👏👏

🎓⏳ #TBT It's interesting to see how traditions can transcend generations. The class motto "Ad Astra per Aspera," meaning "To the stars through difficulties," captures a spirit of perseverance and ambition. Chosen by the senior class of 1927-28 (pictured here) and the seniors of 2025, it reminds us that courage and determination remain constant, even with the passing of nearly a century. It's intriguing to consider how the aspirations and challenges of students then might mirror those today. This motto continues to inspire, encouraging each generation to reach for their dreams, no matter the obstacles. #WeAreClayton! 💜💛
