🛩️ From Senior, Aidan Olson: Yesterday morning, I had the privilege of flying a Cessna 172 over Clayton. Aviation has been a dream of mine since I started staring at the sky when I was little, and now, with my pilot’s license in hand, that dream has come true—just before I graduate.
The flyover wasn’t just a way to say goodbye to Clayton, but hopefully an inspiration to you that if I can chase my dream, you can chase yours—no matter what it is. Aim high, and don’t let anyone tell you your dreams are out of reach. Find your support system. For me, that’s always been Clayton—my family, friends, and teachers. They’ve been there every step of the way, and they’re the ones who’ll help you achieve your dreams, too.
I’m off to UMD to pursue my dream of earning my wings in the Air Force. No matter where life takes me, I’ll always remember that the wind beneath my wings was Clayton—my family, friends, and teachers—who lifted me up, and they can do the same for you.
