What in the carnation is going on here?!?! 💐 This week, for Clayton High School's Plant Science class, students were treated to an explanation of the anatomy of flowering plants from Jenny Bergmann at Bergmann's Greenhouse. Ms. Bergmann gave students several examples of different types of flowers 🌺 🌸 and their various internal structures. The students rose🌹 to the occasion and answered her questions about different types of pollinators and the difference between monocots and dicots. Students were treated with flowers that will be used in class to dissect and further analyze the different parts of flowering plants. 🌻🪻 Thank you, Ms. Bergmann, for your time, enthusiasm, and expertise!👏

🏸 🏸 Clayton Middle School Physical Education classes recently completed their singles tournaments and awarded certificates for places one through four. The eighth grade also played a doubles tournament and was awarded the champions.🏸 🏸
