Happy Pi Day! Here are some fascinating facts about pi:
➕ The symbol for Pi has been in use for over 250 years. It was introduced by William Jones, a Welsh mathematician, in 1706.
➕ March 14 or 3/14 is celebrated as Pi Day because 3.14 are the first digits of pi.
➕ The record for reciting the most number of decimal places of Pi was achieved by Rajveer Meena at VIT University, in Vellore, India on March 21, 2015. He was able to recite 70,000 decimal places in 10 hours!
➕ The calculation of pi is a stress test for a computer. It works just like a digital cardiogram since it indicates the level of activity within the computer's processor.

🎽🏃👟 #TBT Track and Field practice started Monday! Let's look back at the 94-95 Varsity Track Team! 🎽🏃👟
📡 🛩️ Mr. LaBlanc's STEM 8 students were able to get some hands-on experience with drones yesterday in the gym. We started by getting familiar with them in general, moved to racing them down and back in the gym, and then advanced to trying to land them on their case. Everyone seemed to have a great time utilizing the technology!

The Prairie Farm and Clayton School Districts are seeking a qualified and student-centered Head Girls Basketball Coach to lead the PFC High School Girls Basketball Co-op starting in the Winter 2025-2026. The HS Girls Basketball season begins November 10, 2025 and runs through the end of February. 👟🎽🏃High school track practice starts Monday, March 10th. Students riding the shuttle bus to Turtle Lake should be at Door #1 of the Clayton school at 3:25 PM so the bus can depart at 3:30 PM. Practice will begin at 3:50 PM. The return shuttle bus will leave Turtle Lake at 5:35 PM.

Arizona and Hawaii are the only two states that do not observe daylight saving time.
