🏅🤸🏆 Two Clayton Students are heading to the MAGA State Gymnastics meet in Rochester this week!
Bailey Schnell will be competing with team Premier Fire in Division 11 on Friday, February 28th, and has also qualified to compete in the individual all-around competitions for the novice division on Sunday, March 2nd.
Macy Grosskreutz will be competing with team Premier Summit to defend their Division 1 championship from last season on Saturday, March 1st! Macy has also qualified to compete in the individual all-around competitions for the senior division on Sunday, March 2nd

🔎🔭 Ms. Gerzmehle and Mrs. Brown each selected a four-student team to travel to CESA 11 in Turtle Lake on February 21st to attend the STEM Olympics.🏅 It was a day full of different group challenges that each team needed to overcome throughout the day. Challenges included building a bridge from limited supplies🏗️, solving logic puzzles 🧩, creating circuits🪫, and leading robots🤖 through a maze! Fun was had by all!

This week, for Clayton High School's Plant Science class, students were treated to an explanation of the anatomy of flowering plants from Jenny Bergmann at Bergmann's Greenhouse. Ms. Bergmann gave students several examples of different types of flowers 🌺 🌸 and their various internal structures. The students rose🌹 to the occasion and answered her questions about different types of pollinators and the difference between monocots and dicots. Students were treated with flowers that will be used in class to dissect and further analyze the different parts of flowering plants. 🌻🪻
