It's National Constitution Day!
🇺🇲 On February 29, 1952, Congress designated September 17 as Constitution Day and Citizenship Day, commemorating the signing of the US Constitution on September 17, 1787 and recognizing all American citizens.
🇺🇲 The US Constitution has 4,400 words. It is the oldest and shortest written Constitution of any major government in the world.
🇺🇲 The Constitution was 'penned' by Jacob Shallus, a Pennsylvania General Assembly clerk, for $30.00!
🇺🇲 The oldest person to sign the Constitution was Benjamin Franklin (81), who cried as he signed. The youngest was Jonathan Dayton of New Jersey (26).
🇺🇲 Since 1952, the Constitution has been on display in the National Archives Building in Washington, D.C. All four pages are behind protective glass framed with titanium. To preserve the parchment's quality, the cases contain argon gas and are kept at 67 degrees F with a relative humidity of 40 percent.

All galleries will be delivered to parents via email 2-5 business days after retake day.
If your child needs a retake (had their picture taken and needs a new one) please fill out the Retake Form below or give Cahill Studios a notice no later than 48 hours before picture day. You are not required to fill out the form, however, we cannot guarantee your student will get a retake photo if they are not on the list.
