🍀🍀 Yesterday, the talents of Tammy Turcotte (flutist) , Denise Johnson (harpist), and Don Hansen (storyteller extraordinaire) graced our elementary commons to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! They captivated our young students with their musical and storytelling talents. Between Tammy and Denise's enchanting melodies and Don's vibrant storytelling, they create a memorable experience that not only entertains but also inspires creativity and cultural appreciation among young students. Many thanks to them all! 👏 👏

The Prairie Farm and Clayton School Districts are seeking a qualified and student-centered Head Boys Basketball Coach to lead the PFC High School Boys Basketball Co-op starting in the Winter 2025-2026. The HS Boys Basketball season begins November 17, 2025 and runs through the end of February. 🥎 🥎 Pick-up / Drop-off plan for track and softball practice this week (likely the plan for the entire spring).
Turtle Lake athletes will be picked up at 3:30 PM and depart for Clayton. Clayton athletes will be ready to go when that group is dropped off. At the end of practice, the shuttle will start in TL and return to Clayton. The TL athletes at Clayton will be ready to return to Turtle Lake around 5:45 PM.

Jacob and Valerie Fall visited the Careers 10 classes recently to present information about their respective careers. Their daughter, Evelyn, is a member of one of the classes.
🛣️ 🌉 Jacob shared about his role as an Engineer, and he even brought in some hands-on activities for the students to test the functionality of concrete.
🧑⚕️⚕️Valerie provided the students with an excellent amount of knowledge about her career as a Registered Nurse, including insight into all the different areas within that field that someone could work in. 👏👏 Thank you very much for coming in and giving our students a great inside look at your respective careers!

➕ The record for reciting the most number of decimal places of Pi was achieved by Rajveer Meena at VIT University, in Vellore, India on March 21, 2015. He was able to recite 70,000 decimal places in 10 hours!
➕ The calculation of pi is a stress test for a computer. It works just like a digital cardiogram since it indicates the level of activity within the computer's processor.

📡 🛩️ Mr. LaBlanc's STEM 8 students were able to get some hands-on experience with drones yesterday in the gym. We started by getting familiar with them in general, moved to racing them down and back in the gym, and then advanced to trying to land them on their case. Everyone seemed to have a great time utilizing the technology!

👟🎽🏃High school track practice starts Monday, March 10th. Students riding the shuttle bus to Turtle Lake should be at Door #1 of the Clayton school at 3:25 PM so the bus can depart at 3:30 PM. Practice will begin at 3:50 PM. The return shuttle bus will leave Turtle Lake at 5:35 PM.
