👏 📢 👏 We have a new Bear in the community! Please help us welcome Mark Hendrickson as our new Director of Buildings and Custodial Services! From Mr. Hendrickson ~ "I grew up in Warren, Minnesota, and graduated from Warren High School in 1984 (same town as Mrs. Magnuson!). After earning my degree from Moorhead State University, I began my career at Northwest Passage in Webster, WI. Eventually, I returned to the Warren area, settling in Argyle, where I owned the Farmer Dell Steakhouse and Lounge until 2012. My love for sports led me to coach baseball and basketball while also serving as a statistician for the football team. After selling the restaurant, I became the Facility and Transportation Director at Stephen-Argyle. I have been married to my wife, Cara, for 36 years, and we have two children, Daulton and Taylor, who both live in the Minneapolis area." Welcome to Bear Country!💜🐻💛

🎶 🎵Kason, Chloe, Mason & Bennett joined 300 other talented middle school musicians from across the Midwest at the 2025 UW-Eau Claire Middle School Honor Band Festival this past Friday! The students spent the day in one of three concert bands, participating in masterclasses, and sectionals with UWEC Music Majors. The day concluded with a performance at the Gantner Concert Hall in the Haas Fine Arts Center! Great job at representing Clayton! 💜 💛

🧰🪛🛠️ Recently, Clayton School's DIY Restoration Class completed a barn board wall refacing project. Students gained valuable skills in board prep, finishing, wall firing, and installation. Students gained experience with joining boards, ripping to nominal dimensions, working around outlets and fixtures and the internal anatomy of a wall, and how to avoid plumbing and electrical components. 🧰🪛🛠️ Their instructor, Ryan Eichman, shared that "seeing students take pride in their work and being excited for each opportunity to accomplish more of the project is one of the most rewarding things he has experienced as a teacher." 👏 👏👏
