🎃 🎃 A couple of weeks ago, Ms. Meyer's Intro to Art Class and the JK classes teamed up to draw and color some pumpkin designs. This past week, the Art class returned with the 3D representations of some of those designs! How cool is this? 🎃 🎃

👏 👏 On Saturday, October 26th, the Prairie Farm/Clayton Junior High football team wrapped up their season with a small banquet at the Prairie Farm School. Following the banquet, the coaches and players traveled to UW-Stout to watch the Blue Devils take on the Blugolds of UW-Eau Claire. The Blue Devils won the game 42-24 in front of a nice crowd for their Homecoming. It was a great way to wrap up the first season of PFC football!💜💚

🗞️ 📣 September's Spotlight Student for Middle School was Jameson Weber! 🗞️ 📣
"Leader and role model” are the words that come to mind when I hear Jameson’s name. A leader is defined as the person who leads or commands a group and a role model is a person looked to by others as an example to be imitated. Ms. Magler shares that, “Jameson is a leader in his class. He shows respect for teachers, staff, and his peers. Students listen to him when he redirects or helps them with what they are working on. He is constantly thinking while we are reading or he is listening in order to add to the class discussion. He has great ideas! He is willing to ask questions to clarify his learning which in turn helps his peers to better understand what is being discussed. Jameson has a positive attitude and is very caring. He is unselfish, wanting what is best for the whole class or group he is working with, rather than only looking for individual gains.” Keep up the great work, Jameson! 👏

🗞️ 📣 Our September HS Student Spotlight was Senior Nahia Barberna-Lerindegui, our foreign exchange student from Spain!
Ms. Donath shares, “Nahia is joining the Clayton School District and community all the way from Pryenees, a small community in Spain. Nahia is experienced in living in a tight-knit community where everyone knows everyone, similar to Clayton. Nahia enjoys being part of different sports teams and specifically enjoys volleyball, running, and softball! She is also an individual who is active in her community by volunteering and helping others out when they are in need. Nahia enjoys trying new things and you will always find her with a positive attitude and the willingness to work with others respectfully and in a kind manner. She noted herself as someone who doesn't give up on things easily and shows a strong sense of perseverance in many of the tasks and activities that she takes part in! Nahia is very focused on her academics and works hard to always do her best and learn as much as she can in the process! Nahia is most looking forward to trying new things and sharing more about her culture during this experience!” Keep up the good work, Nahia! 👏

To earn this, the seniors must have a collective GPA of 3.33 or higher. In addition, 4 of our seniors earned individual academic awards with a GPA of 3.75 or higher. Those seniors are: Alex Schradle, Landon King, Lincoln Grosskreutz, and Braden Curtis. Way to represent our team both on the field and in the classroom!!💜 🏈 💛
