💜🏀💚 These 6 young men and women completed the challenge of shooting 10,000 shots over the summer. This is not an easy feat, especially when it may require shooting outside when it’s hot and humid. We can’t wait to see how your efforts will pay off this winter during your season. 🔥🧯🚒 Fire Safety Week began with engaging lessons for our high school students, led by the Clayton Fire Department. Students learned to evacuate safely, stay low to avoid smoke, check doors for heat, and call for help! They practiced open windows and climbing out, gaining essential skills and confidence!

⚡💡⚡Mechatronics combines Mechanics, Electronics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Robots & Controls. There are courses designed to teach all of those topics that will be covered throughout the school year. The courses involve textbook and hands-on lab learning. We just finished DC Electricity, where we learned about the basic different types of components in a circuit, how to analyze them, and build them on a mobile lab unit in the classroom. ~ Instructor Jeff Matz

On Friday, October 3, 2025, Ms. Pickard and five second graders attended the Roll, Construct, and Launch Engineering workshop at CESA 11. The workshop was led by Solange from the Science Museum of Minnesota. The students used problem solving skills like engineers and completed engineering challenges throughout the day. A favorite activity of the day was creating and launching rockets. 🚀 👷
