On Friday, October 3, 2025, Ms. Pickard and five second graders attended the Roll, Construct, and Launch Engineering workshop at CESA 11. The workshop was led by Solange from the Science Museum of Minnesota. The students used problem solving skills like engineers and completed engineering challenges throughout the day. A favorite activity of the day was creating and launching rockets. 🚀 👷

Fun Fact Friday (on a Monday!): Mr. Fall's class used journal time to make a "LAVA LAMP". The 2nd graders predicted and observed what would happen when water, vegetable oil, and Alka-Seltzer tablets were mixed. Writing and learning science facts was so fun today 🧪 🧑‍🔬
