The 4K students were visited by the 2025 Barron County Fairest of the Fair, Ella Briggs. She read them stories, shared experienced gained through fair activities, and presented each student with a ribbon! The children loved having real royalty in our classroom and are already excited for the fair next summer ☀️🐮🐴🍀

4th graders got to enjoy noodle kugel and potato kugel after reading about this dish in a story. In the story, potato kugel won the competition, but in Ms. Peterson’s class, noodle kugel was the winner!🧑🍳 🥔 😋

Another Fun Fact Friday in 2nd grade! Today, the 2nd graders were "DISSOLVING CANDY PUMPKINS" in water, milk, vegetable oil, and vinegar. The students predicted, observed, and summarized the rate of candy pumpkins dissolving in the various liquids. We love learning and writing about science!🧑🔬 🔎 🧪
